Othonas Charalambous is a visual artist, filmmaker and activist based between London, UK and Nicosia, Cyprus. His interdisciplinary practice encompasses mediums such as video, sound and installation to explore nuanced relationships between humanity and the natural world, departing from spatiotemporal narratives that encompass biopolitics, corporeality and elaborations of corporeal existence through and around natural environments.


His work has been exhibited worldwide including at CEAC (Xiamen, China, 2022), Het Nieuwe instituut (Rotterdam, Netherlands, 2021), Salone Degli Incanti (Trieste, Italy, 2018), among others. Charalambous is the co-founder and co-director of art projects aimed at fostering environmentally consious practices such as Platform: Climate Challenge (Visual Artists and Art Theorists Association, 2018-20) and Perceiving Landscape(s) (International Association of Photography and Theory, 2020-21).
