imperceptibilities: act I is a research project exploring underwater noise pollution as result of human activity in the sea commons and its impact on marine ecosystems. Developed at pilot stage during a 3-month residency in Athens, textual, sonic and filmic fragments experiment with nuanced discourses of sonic dissonances. Indecipherable soundscapes of layered whispers emerge as sonic interventions in unexpected spaces, guided by jagged fragments of poetry ambiguously ominous encounters.
